About This Show
π΅ They wrote the songs you already know by heart.
Orleans is the band behind some of the most enduring hits of the 1970s, including "Still the One," "Dance With Me," and "Love Takes Time" β songs that still fill the airwaves on classic rock radio, television and streaming more than five decades after they were written.
πΈ Formed in Woodstock, New York in 1972, Orleans built its reputation on a rare combination of songwriting craft, instrumental skill and those unmistakable trademark harmonies. Rolling Stone once called them "the best unrecorded band in the country" β and it wasn't long before the records, and the hits, started coming.
Over a career spanning 17+ albums, Orleans has shared studios and stages with an astonishing list of artists, including Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Little Feat, Fleetwood Mac, REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar. Their signature song "Still the One" became so beloved it served for years as the theme for the ABC television network.
π Now in its 54th year, Orleans is led by co-founder Lance Hoppen, joined by brother Lane Hoppen and bandmates Brady Spencer, Tom Lane and Tony Hooper. Together they continue to deliver Orleans' music with the power, class and integrity that has kept audiences coming back for five decades.
Their oldest fans say the band sounds as good as ever. Their newest fans simply walk away impressed. Everyone agrees on one thing: these guys still have it.
A half-century of hits. Harmonies you'll never forget. One unforgettable evening. πΆ
