Bringing a Group to Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre: Church Groups, Reunions, Tour Buses, and Office Outings

Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre · November 4, 2026 · 4 min read

A night at the theatre is easy to plan for two. For twenty or fifty, you need a few more answers before you book. This guide covers how group tickets work at Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre, which shows suit which kinds of groups, and what to expect on the day.

What Counts as a Group?

Any party of 15 or more adults qualifies for group rates. Student and military rates are also available.

How Group Tickets Work

Fill out the form on our groups page with your organization, group size, and the dates you're considering, and we'll get back to you. You can also call the box office at (843) 663-3600.

The rate. Every member of your group pays the same group price, whether you bring 15 people or 50. The group price does vary from show to show. Once your group reaches 20 paid seats, your driver and escort get free tickets.

When to book. There's no set deadline. We can book your group as soon as you're ready, and seats are first come, first served, so how early you need to call depends on the show and the time of year. Some dates have room close to showtime, while the Christmas season is our busiest stretch and fills faster. If you have your heart set on a particular date, reach out early.

Deposit and final count. A 10% deposit holds your seats. Hotels and tour companies don't need a deposit. Your final headcount and payment are due 7 days before the show for our own Legacy Cast shows, and 2 weeks before for guest concerts.

Seating Together

Groups sit together whenever seats allow, and we place every group in the best seats available at the time you book. If you book late for a busy date, or add people at the last minute, we can't always keep everyone together, but we'll seat the extra guests as close to the rest of your group as we can. Booking early is the best way to get great seats side by side.

One more thing your group will enjoy: we announce every group during the show.

Getting everyone to their seats is easy. There isn't a single step between our parking lot and any seat in the theatre: no curb, no stairs at the front door, and no stairs inside. That makes a big difference for groups with older travelers or anyone who uses a cane, walker, or wheelchair.

If anyone in your group needs wheelchair-accessible seating or an amplified hearing device, mention it when you book so we can plan ahead. See our accessibility page for details.

Which Show Fits Your Group?

  • Music & Memories (February through October): our flagship Legacy Cast show and the easiest fit for most groups, from reunions to tour stops.
  • Christmas on Main (November and December): a natural pick for office holiday parties, church outings, and family gatherings, with 1:30 PM matinees on select days for daytime trips.
  • SonShine: an afternoon of gospel and contemporary Christian music on select Sundays at 3:00 PM, performed by the full Legacy Cast and band. A good match for church groups (more below).
  • Hit Parade: a live "radio broadcast" of hits from the 1950s through the 1980s, hosted by a GRLT Radio DJ, on select Friday nights.
  • Guest concerts: we also host touring artists and tribute acts throughout the year. Check the schedule for what's playing during your dates.

Church Groups and SonShine

At SonShine, worship leaders and bands from local churches join the Legacy Cast on stage, and each production tithes back into area churches. That makes it an easy fit for a church outing.

The theatre invites the participating churches itself, so there's nothing to apply for. Your church can simply come and enjoy the show as a group.

Tour Buses and Motorcoaches

We're at 701 Main St, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, near the Kroger Shopping Plaza. Motorcoaches get reserved parking spaces on the Main Street side of the building, and parking is free. When your coach arrives, our staff will greet your group and walk everyone to their seats.

Coaches usually unload at the side of the building, and groups come in through the lower auditorium door. If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair, let us know when you book so we can plan the easiest drop-off.

School and Student Groups

Student rates are available for schools. Contact our group sales team through the groups page.

Before You Arrive

A few things to pass along to your group:

  • Show length: Music & Memories and Christmas on Main each run about two hours, with an intermission.
  • Dress: date-night attire works. It isn't formal, but it isn't loungewear either.
  • Pre-show: doors open an hour before showtime, with trivia, a look at upcoming shows, and live music.
  • Food and drinks: the concession counter has cookies, flavored popcorn, and candy. We serve beer, wine, and wine cocktails, along with Coca-Cola products, water, sweet tea, and coffee. Outside food and drinks aren't allowed.
  • Payment: we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
