Every November and December, the Legacy Cast takes the stage for Christmas on Main, our holiday show at Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre. This guide covers what to expect, when it plays, and how to make a holiday outing of it with family, friends, or a group.
What to Expect
Christmas on Main is an intimate Christmas show that feels like an evening in our living room. You'll hear all your favorite Christmas classics, laugh along with some festive comedy, and relive memorable scenes from beloved holiday movies. At the heart of it all is the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's a mix of music, laughter, nostalgia, and faith.
We write and produce a fresh show every year, so even if you came last Christmas, this year's show will be new to you. You'll still hear some old favorites, the songs that make it feel like the holidays no matter what decade they come from.
When It Plays
Christmas on Main runs from early November through late December. For 2026, the season runs November 2 through December 28.
- Evening shows start at 7:00 PM.
- Matinees start at 1:30 PM on select days.
The theatre closes on some holidays, so check the show schedule for exact dates and times before you plan your trip.
How Long Is the Show?
Plan on about two hours, with an intermission.
Bringing the Kids
Everything about the show is family friendly. If you're bringing young children, a 1:30 PM matinee may fit their schedule better than an evening show. A family restroom is available, too.
Make a Night of It
Every year we deck the theatre out for Christmas, and there's always a photo spot inside, so bring your phone and plan a few extra minutes for a picture with your group.
Plan to arrive early. Doors open an hour before showtime, and the pre-show includes trivia, a look at upcoming shows, and live music before the curtain goes up. The concession counter has cookies, flavored popcorn, and candy, and we serve beer, wine, and wine cocktails along with soft drinks, sweet tea, and coffee.
Parking is free, with lots all the way around the building.
Along with Christmas on Main, the season also brings a few holiday concerts from guest artists. You'll find them on the schedule too.
Bringing a Group
The holidays are a natural time for group outings: office parties, church groups, family reunions, and friends getting together for the season. Groups of 15 or more qualify for group rates. Fill out the form on our groups page or call the box office at (843) 663-3600.
Group seats are booked first come, first served, and the Christmas season is our busiest time of year, so reach out as early as you can.
Give the Gift of a Show
Gift cards are sold at the box office at 701 Main St, and they make an easy stocking stuffer for anyone who loves live music. Questions? Call the box office at (843) 663-3600.
A gift card can also be put toward a Legacy Membership, so it works for a membership gift too. A membership includes a free ticket to Christmas on Main and a free ticket to Music & Memories, along with member pricing on every Legacy Cast show. See the membership page for details.
