About This Show
🌄 Some voices carry you home. John Denver was one of them.
Back Home Again: A Tribute to John Denver is a warm, joyful, and deeply authentic celebration of one of America's most beloved singer-songwriters — as seen on PBS Television Special.
🎸 Leading the journey is Tom Becker — former member of the legendary folk group The New Christy Minstrels — who effortlessly captures John Denver's signature warmth, wit, and humanity.
Tom and his band take you through the full range of Denver's incredible catalog:
- 🤠 The foot-stomping fun of "Thank God, I'm a Country Boy"
- 💛 The tender beauty of "Annie's Song"
- 🏔️ The sweeping grandeur of "Rocky Mountain High"
...and so much more.
🌿 More than just a greatest hits show, this concert explores the many facets of John Denver's songwriting — the songs that defined his life, his loves, and his lifelong passion for preserving the natural world.
Sunshine on your shoulders has never felt so good. ☀️
